Longer weekend for intermediate/advanced women. You can handle your own rod in terms of putting it together, tying on a fly and a leader. I will help you with improving your casting and the fishing part! We can one more day than the ordinary weekend, to dive into the fishing!

I started Fish&Chicks in 2024, after almost 15 years of traveling the world with a fishing rod in hand and meeting surprisingly few women along the way. I always knew you were out there. We just needed a place to come together.

The intimate weekends welcome 8 women, with plenty of room to learn, ask questions and enjoy life by the water and chasing big chrome atlantic salmon.

Set in the beautiful Skjern River valley in western Denmark, home to one of the country's most iconic Atlantic salmon rivers. Once heavily altered by human activity, the river has been restored and given a second chance to thrive, along with the wildlife that depends on it.

We sleep tipi tents with stove, 4 spacious tents for 8 women. You just need to bring a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, rubber boots/waders and sunglasses. I do have gear, but bring your own setup if you prefer that, I know I do that:)

We are going to be fishing, casting, eating hearty meals around the fire and doing river management with Denmarks Center for Wild salmon (This part has been a highlight for many!)

You'll also receive a lovely goodie bag with treats for your future fishing adventures. ♡
